To ensure that the Profiler tools and other medical features deliver high-quality, relevant, and timely information to patients and physicians, and to continue to maintain a standard of excellence, NexCura has developed the Medical Editorial Board.
The members of the Medical Editorial Board have been carefully chosen as recognized experts and leaders in their respective medical specialties. These members have published widely in distinguished medical journals on various topics related to chronic disease treatment.
As compensated members of the NexCura team, their primary responsibility is to review the standard reports that are generated by the Profiler tools - such as outcome, staging, and treatment summary reports for accuracy and clinical utility. They also carefully review and select the scientific studies - that are used to create the Profiler tool databases, basing their decisions on inclusion criteria established by NexCura's Medical Director and the Medical Editorial Board Chairpersons for each disease specialty.
Information included in the Profiler tool databases must meet stringent acceptance standards, similar to those used by prominent medical journals. To qualify for inclusion, studies must be statistically significant, clinically relevant, and published in peer-reviewed journals. The database is regularly updated with the latest medical studies, giving patients and physicians the advantage of having access to the most current medical information.
