Patient Messaging Options

Making use of NexCura's secure, permission-based, Direct-to-Patient services is straightforward. NexCura will design, or you can provide, an e-mail message that should be predominantly text-based, but can include some graphic content. NexCura codes the message into HTML format. The e-mail can include a link to an HTML-encoded response form that resides on NexCura's servers, to an online brochure, or to a Web site where patients can receive additional information.

NexCura will query its patient database to identify patients who meet the criteria for the target population, and e-mail them from its servers. At a regular interval (e.g. weekly), the database can be queried and messages sent to newly registered patients.

A variety of parameters can be tracked to measure campaign performance including:
  • Mail fulfillment requests

  • Percentage of e-mail opens

  • File downloads

  • Clicks through to Web site

  • ROI – see ROI Analysis

MARKETING CAMPAIGN PROCESS - EXAMPLE

Patient Profiler Tool
Patients register on one of the embedded client Websites (e.g. cancerfacts.com).

Patients choose whether or not to "opt-in" to receive information from NexCura about products and services. (Approximately 80% "opt-in")

Medical Data Questionnaire
Within the Profiler tool, patients fill out a medical data questionnaire in order to generate a customized treatment report.

Weekly Data Query and Filter Criteria
On a weekly basis, NexCura queries the database of new Profiler registrants from the previous week and determines who would be potential candidates for therapy/screening based on answers to the medical data questionnaire.

Educational E-mail
The patients from the weekly data query are sent an e-mail informing them of the opportunity to better understand their condition.

Included in this e-mail is information about the therapy/screening, as well as a link to an order form Web page where they can sign up to receive by mail information on the specific therapy/screening from NexCura.

Order Form
Those interested submit their name and address so that NexCura can send them the free educational materials related to the therapy/screening.

Fulfillment of Educational Materials
NexCura sends the appropriate materials to individuals who have ordered them.
